Privacy notice

This is a concept website with three enquiry forms. You can browse without an account. We do not use advertising pixels or third-party embeds; a private sign-in is available only to the team reviewing enquiries.

What is collected, and why

When you visit, our hosting provider's servers automatically process technical information needed to deliver the page securely: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, your browser type and the referring page. This is used only to serve the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults.

The website is hosted by Lovable and delivered from locations around the world. Its private enquiry list is hosted in Lovable Cloud in the London, UK region. Lovable and its infrastructure providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in operating a secure website.

Enquiry forms. If you send an enquiry, we collect the details you enter (name, email, postcode or area, and your answers). They are emailed to our team through Lovable's email sending service and received in our Google Workspace mailboxes. A copy is also stored in a private, access-restricted list within this website's secure hosting, visible only to our team. We use them only to reply to your enquiry and understand local interest. We do not collect verification documents at this stage. Our lawful basis for handling an enquiry is legitimate interests in responding to it. General updates are sent only if you tick the optional box, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing privacy@riderforhire.com.

How long it is kept

We do not keep a separate copy of hosting server logs. Lovable makes recent operational logs available for review; its underlying log deletion period is controlled by the provider and has not been published. Our 12-month enquiry retention period does not apply to those provider logs.

Our policy is to delete enquiry emails and private enquiry-list entries within 12 months of our last contact. If you opt in to general updates, we retain your contact details for that purpose until you withdraw consent or the updates end.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal information, or object to its use. Contact RiderForHire.com at privacy@riderforhire.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Future services

Job requests, rider verification and payments are not live. If they are built, this notice will be updated before they launch. See also the cookies page.
